Metatip: consider mailer for late adopters like me

The mailer always tells about new stuff in Canary. But I have to work with Stable, as do many, and by the time new stuff rolls out into Stable I don't remember anything from the mailer.

If this seems like it applies more than me, you could just have a separate mailing list with the same content held up till Stable.

Maybe just link to old slides when the new version is released, & note what did not make it?
This can be done in the main mailing list; no need for a separate mailer.
