How to use this manually?

I have an reader where I get an response like:

event: message
data: {"token": " generals", "finish_reason": "null"}

There I extract the data json out. and push that into an
const stream = new Readable();
Now sometimes the jsons are not closed since they are in two chunks instead of one.
My question is how I can stream them successfully, at the moment I have:

			const getter = chain([
					stream,
					parser(),
					streamValues(),
				]);
				getter.on('data', (data) => {
					// ...
					console.log('data');
				});
				getter.on('end', () => {
					console.log('ennd');
					// ...
				});
				getter.on('error', (err: Error) =>
					console.error('stream failed:', err)
				);

and I recieve an

My understanding is that this is "data json": data: {"token": " generals", "finish_reason": "null"}. How do you "push that into"? What stream-json component do yo use for it?
