Description

Let's scope and sketch out light formatting tweaks to the print HTML view, for incorporation into the template (before we regenerate everything). Feedback from contributors includes compressing the spacing between rows/components, and providing clearer indication of component and hierarchy levels.

Summary of proposed changes:

  • Add “Collection Contents” h2 heading.
  • Component titles are h3; section titles (e.g., "Summary", "Background", "Related Resources", etc.) are h4.
  • Vertical lines only, beginning from the component title. Vertical line captures all descriptive text related to a component. (Remove “Contents” section heading)
  • No box around “online content” & no horizontal line breaks
  • All descriptive fields are indented slightly, underneath the component title - all at the same alignment (following the vertical line)
  • Include missing EAD data within “Summary” section of each component:
    • Identifier (<unitid>)
    • Containers (<container>)
