Using the Cromite webview without the magisk module

Since the package name of bromite webview is the same as the android default webview, I can't install it.
Is there a version with a different package name? Else I'm thinking of creating a fork using com.bromite.webview or something like that as package name, and use a treble overlay mod, flashable in recovery, to make it show in settings (like Mulch webview did).
Or maybe there is a simpler way that I didn't find, so I'll wait for an answer.

The only related issue I found is #1760 , which is still unanswered.
Also this #1564 is similar to what i want to do.
