Cromite Install and Auto-Update now Available

I am a long-time user of bromite and now cromite. I began to use cromite on my Linux desktop earlier this year and began tinkering with an Ubuntu-native update check. I created this script for new to Linux users (running Ubuntu) who need an alternative browser choice. My goal was to use all the native tools available in recent Ubuntu releases to make it lightweight and easy for new users. Many people are moving to Linux and I wanted to make it easy for them to leverage the amazing work being done in the cromite project. I'm still polishing the first production release, but I hope this can help you or someone you know.

Update 12/20/2024:
Added install option for users to load a pre-configured Cromite profile during install. The profile includes the following:

• User history discarded when Cromite is closed
• DNS over HTTPS configured to use Cloudflare DNS' Family security servers to filter malicious sites
• Startpage.com set as default search engine. The add-on is not installed, Cromite is configured to use startpage via https %s
• EFF.org Privacy Badger extension is pre-installed to block even more trackers.
• Site search is configured to only search Bookmarks, History and open tabs. Google Gemini has been disabled.
• Adblock Plus easylist and easyprivacy subscriptions have been added.

I figured this would help new users get a head start, would love some feedback on if this is too much or not enough. This is optional, should it be part of the default setup?
