"Scroll on type" is broken for some (old) projects

Description

I started typing, and the preview didn't move. Now I saw that I can disable the scroll, but it's enabled. And also "scroll preview to cursor position" button is broken as well.

It worked before, and I don't know when the ability to disable this appeared, because there were some times when I wanted to disable this. But now it's permanently disabled.

Are you sure it's not a problem with a specific document? If I test it in a new document, it works fine.

Indeed, only broken on an old document. At least one.

OK, weird. I tried the broken document again, and now it works as if I made this issue up. I'm guessing it will be very hard to reproduce.
