Changing the date in the json file to 30-02-2020 does not cause app to start with no data

Expected:
Start off with no data

Actual:
Date has been amended and app still runs

To reproduce:

1. add a lesson
2. goto the json file and change the date of the lesson to 30-02-2020
3. restart the app
