Hi,

Thanks for making this kitten. I had a few feature requests. Please prioritize per your discretion.

  1. Request to highlight the currently selected word in a different color than others.
  2. Request to add a way to specify where to search from - top, bottom, or current position.
  3. Request to add hints for search errors/completions. For example - A line saying - 'No more results found' when there are no more matches in the direction I was scrolling. Another example - A line saying - 'No results found' (maybe in red?) when there were no matches found.

Thanks.

Hi. This kitten just uses the marks feature of kitty to perform the search. I don't think this currently supports highlighting the current word or checking if there are any matches, so this would need feature requests to kitty itself (unless there are options I'm not aware of).

This could probably be supported by scrolling to the top or bottom when starting the search.
