Different GMs use different UIs & color schemes for Foundry. Being able to customize the rarity colors would allow for more compatibility. I personally keep this feature unchecked and use Rarity Colors instead to make it compatible w/ my UI (though I would prefer to trim mods from my modlist if they can be consolidated).
