[bug] record function not working

When I tried recording a message and hit stop and then clicked on the "listen" button, nothing played, so It seems the record function is not working and it affects both the prompt and wakeup buttons, and I made sure I allowed microphone permissions when asked by the browser and that my mic was working by test recording with another app, and I've tried to record on different browsers and devices with no luck.

so far I've tried this on:

firefox 135.0.1 and google chrome 133.0.6943.127
on windows 11 pro 23h2

and google chrome 133
on a samsung s23 with android 14
