404 page looks broken #352

I think it's easiest to explain with a screenshot:

It doesn't really seem finished. The content is technically there. Except that there are no styles on the page so it's all shoved up into the top left corner.

When the site was redesigned the first time, the 404 page ended up just redirecting to the home page (per this comment). Would it be better to bring that back or is a dedicated 404 page desired now? If yes, I feel like it should have some formatting to make it look presentable. Perhaps not as fancy as the first version, but something.


This isn't a duplicate of #117 or #217 since the 404 page already exists.
(I couldn't reopen them if I wanted to anyway.)
