Downloader hanging on MAME roms

Hi guys. I've been having a persistent issue this last week with the script whereby it launches and runs, but as soon as it gets to either xmen.zip or zerowing.zip it just starts printing an endless row of ******** (stars) and doesn't progress. Even ctrl+C doesn't do anything. Rebooting the MiSTer used to work, but today it refuses to move past this part no matter what I do.

Any help would be appreciated.

Same issue here, although you can still access terminal with Alt+F1 to kill the script (no need to reboot)

Mine was hanging on tehkanwc.zip but after a couple Ctrl+C to cancel and retries, it seemed to work..

So I tried disabling the downloader and the script was able to finish running, however when I re-enabled it and ran the script again, it did finish but appeared to only download the new additions (Irem M90 games) and skip the rest. Dunno if this actually fixed it and no way to tell until there's another major update to the database, but it appears to be sorted for now.

This is a major issue for new setups as its just getting stuck on certain (or random?) roms now. Will be less of an issue with existing setups.

Can it have to do with internet archive not working properly?
