Thank you for contributing to taichuy projects.
This Individual Contributor License Agreement ("Agreement") documents the rights you grant to the taichuy project maintainers when you submit a contribution. It is intended to let the project use, maintain, distribute, sublicense, and relicense contributions while confirming that contributors are authorized to submit their work.
"You" means the individual who accepts this Agreement.
"Project" means any taichuy repository or related project material that uses this Agreement.
"Maintainers" means the individuals or organization that own or administer the applicable taichuy Project repository.
"Contribution" means any original work of authorship, code, documentation, configuration, design, issue content, pull request content, or other material that you intentionally submit to the Project.
"Submit" means any form of electronic, written, or other communication sent to the Project, including pull requests, patches, issues, comments, commits, and repository uploads.
You grant the Maintainers and recipients of the Project a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute your Contributions and derivative works based on your Contributions.
This license allows the Maintainers to use your Contributions in open source, source-available, commercial, hosted, internal, or other distributions of taichuy Projects, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
If your Contribution would otherwise infringe a patent claim that you can license, you grant the Maintainers and recipients of the Project a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Contribution as part of the Project.
You retain ownership of your Contributions. This Agreement does not transfer copyright ownership from you to the Maintainers.
The licenses granted in this Agreement are broad enough for the Maintainers to operate, maintain, modify, distribute, sublicense, and relicense the Project without seeking additional permission for each Contribution.
By submitting a Contribution, you represent that:
- You are legally entitled to grant the licenses in this Agreement.
- The Contribution is your original work, or you have sufficient rights to submit it under this Agreement.
- If your employer or another party has rights to the Contribution, you have received permission to submit it under this Agreement.
- To the best of your knowledge, the Contribution does not intentionally infringe any third party's intellectual property rights.
- You are not knowingly submitting material that is subject to terms that would conflict with this Agreement or prevent the Project from using the Contribution.
Submitting a Contribution does not require the Maintainers to accept, merge, publish, support, or maintain it.
You are not required to provide ongoing support, updates, warranties, or indemnification for your Contribution unless you agree to do so separately in writing.
Your Contributions are provided on an "AS IS" basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of title, non-infringement, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
The Project may use a contributor license agreement service, such as CLA Assistant, to record your acceptance of this Agreement. Your acceptance may be stored as a public or private repository record associated with your GitHub account or other contribution identity.
The Maintainers may update this Agreement from time to time. Contributions submitted before an update remain covered by the version accepted for those Contributions. Future Contributions may require acceptance of the updated Agreement.
