Updatescript with data

In the updatescript there is a way when checking nevents for MC that if the MC line is commented out it will output: 1 matches found (should be exactly 2) so it is clear that one sample is commented out. For data this does not seem to work. Maybe we can cross check that and add a way for when data is commented out that it outputs the same message.
