About history search: is there anything about fish-like search that's absent in good-old `history-incremental-search-backward`? Even bash has it enabled by default, and I think zsh with emacs-like keybindings does that too: bindkey "^R" history-incremental-search-backward Just asking, in case I miss anything :) |

I see, thanks for reply. qwertyboy on reddit pretty much sums up my opinion. Another cool thing about Ctrl-R is being incremental: one can always refine one's search if it's too vague. Or alternatively, stop searching when command has already been found. All in all, seems to be a matter of taste :) |
