Hi Suraj,

I attempted to use your solution and I seem to be getting an error for the code snippet that you say to toss in application.js. Also I was wondering how you pull in the ext SDK files. Every way I attempt to do this seems to result in some type of error unless I am only pulling in a single ext-all-debug.js file. Also I cant seem to dynamically load any files other than the files located within ext-all-debug.js for example draggable.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Michael,

Please show me the error message you are seeing.

First, extract the ExtJS SDK into your Rails app's public/ folder:

public/extjs-4.1.1/

Next, pull the ExtJS SDK files into your application layout:

<%= javascript_include_tag
"/extjs-4.1.1/ext-all#{ '-debug' if Rails.env.development? }.js",
'application' %>

This way, the ExtJS SDK is loaded before your Rails application's javascript asset.

Hi Sunaku,

I am really sorry for immodest request :( As I see you are working with Rails+ExtJS, maybe you can share one of your projects(just as example) using this environment? Really want to achieve new knowledge in this area, but the number of projects which are up to date in internet is extremely low and I am trying to get new information like a blind cat :(
