I too would like to know this. And does migrating to KDE Frameworks mean no longer maintaining a pure-Qt implementation?

Yes, I should make another Grantlee release meanwhile. I've been meaning to for a while. I need to write a blog post and a CHANGELOG for it. Hopefully will be done soon.
