Has this changed with 1.0, or am I dumb? :) Can't move it no matter what I try. All I can do is unlock the taskbar and resize the toolbar. |

Yes, you are currently using the deskband of EverythingToolbar. For the icon in the middle of the taskbar in Windows 11 you should use the search icon as described in the readme. |

Searching 'EverythingToolbar' in the start menu comes up empty. I installed using Winget, but I don't know if that makes a difference. |

It looks like the WinGet version was not updated to 1.0 yet (it is not managed by me). But I will look into automating the releases on WinGet. For now I would recommend you to download 1.0 manually. You should then be able to follow the instructions. Sorry about the confusion. |

I don't know if there is supposed to be a start menu shortcut and it's just missing for me, but I got it working by manually finding and running EverythingToolbar.Launcher.exe |

Win10. C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\EverythingToolbar doesn't exist. I installed fresh from GitHub in case the Winget version was somehow different. Setup Assistant did not start after setup. |

Okay, the start menu shortcut will only be created on Windows 11. I updated the readme to reflect that. Thanks for pointing it out! |
