Possible to pull blocks with sticky piston inside hostile bastion field

Tests on Civtest show that this is possible even when the field should not allow block modification by the user.

Not sure how to handle this or what is intended behavior.

Are you saying the piston is inside? Because if so that is the intended behavior. Once the piston is placed inside the field it should work like normal.
