Description

QGIS is a mature, relatively approachable programme for doing various geospatial things. Many of these have applications to subsurface/geoscience. Having a small selection of examples would be useful for people looking to do these sorts of things, especially if they are non-programmers.

Goals

1. Survey existing tools available in QGIS to identify possible use-cases on subsurface data.
2. Provide a small collection of some common tasks that are amenable to being done in QGIS (so probably not 4D seismic processing) using the tools identified by 1.
3. Ideally, provide a small tutorial module akin to the Forestry one that already exists.

This did not get any traction, but I still think that it has some value, if I can find a good dataset that has a few things.
