Set Destination per Planet name

Is it possible to set a Destination planet by the Planet Name? If you have named Planets (not like Sol-63) and don't know it's Dim ID, i think it would be better to enter names to set a destination.

It could be possible. But why should someone name 2 Planets identical.

Possible but might cause problems. Planet ID is safe so I'll probably stick to planet IDs, sorry. Otherwise there might be different planets with same name

I mean, you could make it so it works if there's only one planet, and if there's two planets with the same name it just doesn't work and returns an error value maybe.

@Gliese-832-c, what about something like PlanetList object instead? Function to get known planet list with their ids, properties, etc. . This planet list will have functions to find planets by id, name or maybe even some properties

so. if i understand it correctly i could run this function?
destination = "earth"
id, name, atmosphere = wd.planetList(destination)
print(id) which would be 0

destination = "earth"
arrayOfPlanets = wd.planetList.findByName(destination) -- Might return multiple planets with this name or just one
id = arrayOfPlanets[0].id
