Add a clear button to the main search field

Problem statement

Currently, when switching from one resource to another I commonly need to clear the current search parameters.
However, as it stands, to do that I need to: Press the search field, select all, press delete. requiring me to move my hands between mouse and keyboard far too frequently.

Proposed solution

Add a clear button to the search field the same as is currently available on the "Filter resources..." field
