Tool bar images do not show on IE 11

Hi,

when using the Writr template on IE11 the toolbar images, that is the images in the vertical black bar, do not show.

I also just noticed that the images by the side of the tools list are also not showing on IE 11

I cannot reproduce this but I think it might be related to #8 and might be fixed in the new version.
(It could be that the font that shows the images is not loading due to some browsers' security settings.)

Can you please check if the latest Writr version fixes this for you?

I am still getting same issue with the latest version (just downloaded now). I have attached a screen grab to show the problem.

IE11 is available for Win7, Win8.1 and Win10. On which OS do you encounter this problem?
I have checked in IE11 on Win10 and couldn't reproduce it.

Is your wiki publicly available? It would be easier if I could check it on the actual wiki to see if there is anything interfering.

Do you encounter the same issue with other wikis using the Writr template?

I am using IE11 on Win 7 in a corporate environment. Having tested some of the other wikis using the same template they all exhibit the same problem.

Visiting my wiki using Google chrome on the same corporate network the images show fine which makes me think that it is not related to the network and / or firewall settings.

My wiki is not publicly available but I can provide you with an account to access it, how would be best to provide you with the login details as I would rather not share them here?

I have now downloaded IE11 on Win7 and can see the issue as well.
I tried a couple of things but nothing worked so far.

The template uses Genericons for those icons. And as I can see the icons on the Genericons homepage just fine in IE11, it's likely that the issue is caused by something the template (or DokuWiki) changes about them. I tried implementing the latest version of them, then I tried to (temporarily) adjust the path to the font to be absolute, then I tried various other @font-face syntaxes and I obviously tried googling various keywords, but none of that worked.

Hmm. I am sorry to say that Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11 have both reached end-of-life. So although this bug may still exist, it's priority will not be very high in my list of issues and features to address.
