Question - Why are the subscription and rg IDs required for the scripts? #9

Hello, apologies for creating an issue. This is not an issue, but a question. However, the setting for discussions is not set for this repo.
As the title says, I would like to know whether you need the subscription details upfront, of if it is possible to create plain images and store them where other code can use them (terraform or other deployment script?). For my use case, I would like to create and maintain current images that can be deployed to VMSS in several different environments. Post deployment scripts would make sure the VMSS have the proper permissions to do their job in each environment.
