Linking popover: "Link to latest" first click is broken #1684

In the editor create a hypermedia link and open the linking popover

Click "Link to Latest Version" or click the checkbox. The checkbox is momentarily checked but then unchecks itself

On the second click, it works

@horacioh the checkbox does not necessarily reflect the &l in the URL, when clicking between two links

you mean when going from one link to another? can you explain this please?
