We are using backstage-plugin-slack-catalog-backend but we have some trouble with our environment because it starts to be outdated + backstage starts to deprecate some code.

Do you plan to upgrade the project soon?

I'm quite a beginner in coding. I have worked with Backstage environment for a few months and I can try to do the bump and contribute, but I don't know how to properly do it, and how to test if your custom plugin still working with the bump.
