The documentation page is very nice--thanks!

When I look at it on an iPad or iPhone in Safari, the behavior is very strange, however. Sometimes when I scroll down, the page bounce up and down a few times, and may settle at somewhere other than the part I was scrolling to.

My guess is that this has to do with the automatic expanding outline on the left.

Perhaps one solution would be to check whether the page is running on iOS and then disable the menu behavior. I haven't tested other browsers--Safari's the only one I have installed on my iOS devices, at the moment.

Everything is generated by R Markdown. I have no (or little) control what's inside the html file. There is an option for something like "smooth_scroll" which is turned on, maybe this causes a problem? I will try to turn it off next time and let you know to verify.

It's an unusual interface even on a computer, but it's nice in that context once you get used to it (which doesn't take long).
