I got
Failed to connect: Failed to fetch browser webSocket URL from http://localhost:9222/json/version: fetch failed
error on cursor ui. Any idea? Thanks.

OS: Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS
Since terminal mentions CPU: mine is AMD Ryzen™ 7 5800X × 16
Cursor is connected to a remote development server via SSH. Extension might be interpreting localhost in the error notification as my remote server where there is no chrome instance

p.s. on terminal i also see below errors

sorry i was on a vacation last week so just got to this. it looks like a similar issue faced by another composer web user mentioned here: #16

could you see if this solves your problem?

and btw the terminal logs look right to me. the tensorflow logs may be because of your system configurations but that is not related to the extension. let me know if you're still facing this issue and we can debug this further

I could not relate the referenced issue with mine.
I still could not confirm what the localhost in below extension error.
"Failed to connect: Failed to fetch browser webSocket URL from http://localhost:9222/json/version: fetch failed"
My desktop or remote headless server that cursor is connected to.

Besides extension itself seems confused what to output, throw all notifications all together.

Hey @oldercodergithub

The localhost:9222 here refers to the chrome (or the chromium based browser you're using) debugging instance which should be running on the same host (if your cursor is running on your home server then the chrome instance should also run on the same host for them to connect)

And these notifications are actually incremental, so initially it's set to connected by default on startup so basic runtime operations of the extension can start but as soon as it checks the connection (which seems to fail here) it disconnects and then throws the actual "failed to connect" error
