Rust Society

The plans for the Rust Society switch-over is getting finalized, and I've put up a draft of what I envision the roll-out plan to look like: rust-lang/leadership-council#159 (comment), I'm starting to circulate these plans with current domain working groups, looking for:

• Any last minute feedback
• Folks interested in being part of the T-Society-Admins Rust Project Team

I found a bit weird the Rust Society admins being a subteam of the Launchpad, since I understand the Launchpad to be an interim home, but maybe this is just for organizational reasons and it should concern a very reduced number of people anyway.
I would like to nominate @adamgreig !

@eldruin there is actually interest in transistioning the Launching Pad from a "temporary team" into a "long term home for cross-project subteams", for things like the project goals, society admins, content team, etc.

→ I think the author misunderstood how mutex/mutex_traits should be used. But it may as well be possible that I am the one misunderstanding it. Maybe @jamesmunns can help?

→ Issue is reproducible on playground. Seems to be a valid bug report, even if the ticket description
is rather terse.
Maybe an issue that should be fixed before 1.0?
