Is it possible to evaluate text with escape sequences from another program?

Hi.
I want to consume text produced by other programs which contain escape sequences, render it into in-memory Window or something similar and then use result in my own processing. For example piping neofetch into my program and running animation over it. Is it possible with libvaxis now or should I look for other solutions like libghostty?

I found workaround of sorts - I pulled terminal widget and hacked it until it could render just into Screen. Works reasonably well for my use-case but it's still a hack. Would appreciate exporting/providing API to parse escape sequences in a library though!
