Hello Robin / @robinpaulson ,

I found your suncalcPy2 library with great interest in order to use it for my Projects with Micropython.

However I am not clear how to use it with this setup on a Pico Pi since datetime is not available to my knowledge.

You mentioned that you have written this library also to use with Pico Pi, please can you give advise/instructions how to use it?

Many thanks

Hmm, good question. I thought I'd stripped out the incompatible libraries, but apparently not. The project got put on hold, so I didn't notice it.

Ah, apparently I only stripped out the parts I didn't need, relating to the moon. And the parts which use calendar.

All I needed it for was sun position, angles. I was likely going to remove everything else. I wanted a sun tracker for my solar panels.

Thanks for your feedback,
I was able to find datetime from the micropython libs but its not fully implemented for MicroPython and fails with TZ data.

Indeed calendar seems not be implemented at all yet for μP

I may get around to the project again this winter, I would be interested in any workarounds so we can ditch datetime.
