Is this tool still supported , can I use it to detect heteroplasmy in rna-seq data?

Hi ,
I came across this tool to detect heteroplasmies from exome sequencing data. Can I use it on rna-seq data as well? This paper https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5974936/pdf/bbv057.pdf mentions your tool hence was curious.
