Organizational Meeting (April 5th)

Hey folks, we're planning on having a technical discussion on Hangouts for addressing current issues and concerns as well as outlining a roadmap for the future of Horizon. We'll have all current members of the leadership team as well as former team members available to answer your questions and discuss how we should move forward. Everyone is welcome!

I will post more details and a link to the Hangout as we get closer to the event. Feel free to discuss here what you'd like to see addressed. We look forward to chatting with all of you!

@HuVik you bet. I think we'll just be using "Hangouts on Air", so if you don't join the Hangout, you should still be able to stream the event live or after the fact on YouTube. Should be under the official RethinkDB account, but either way I'll make sure the link gets posted here.

@marshall007 Do you know if a time has been chosen for the meeting? We're down below 48 hours until the meeting is supposed to happen, and I'd like to block my time on the calendar if possible so that I can attend.

Thank you for recording the session! It has just been another week and I would like to know what your plans are. In the talk you said you wanted to clean up the https://github.com/Tryneus/horizon/tree/grey_plugins branch by @Tryneus within a week or two which I hardly find plausible.
I really would like to work on fixing up stuff but the lack of documentation on that branch is stunning. Basically if I have to start with the amount of information currently provided at #865, I need to go through all of the code line by line and try to figure out what you did not do yet and especially how you meant to do it. Especially for auth this is pretty much unacceptable. Even if you do not do any of the work, please provide a more detailed guide what needs to be done and hints on how to tackle those things.

An even more pressing issue is the lack of community management. Please appoint someone to manage issues etc. If there are no candidates, I'd be happy to step up.
