Summary

In some cases, you want to be able to provide the node with an arbitrary configuration, with a user section, unsupported transport types and other xray-specific functionality. Such a profile may limit the functionality of the panel in relation to nodes with such a config, but it can be a useful “crutch” in situations where the functionality of the panel does not allow you to do what you want

I didn't understand the codebase, but this feature doesn't sound all that complicated, and it's unlikely to require massive changes to the code. Creating “service users” is of course a way, but a rather crutch. And the function itself is quite important in situations where single-node services are not very effective. In general, it would be convenient if it were possible to conveniently control the switching of attbounds from the panel interface and create bundles of profiles for interconnection between nodes, but these are much more massive changes and more code. While unmanaged profiles should be easy to implement. The current approach to resolving the issue (which is very relevant in the contest of maintaining white lists in the Russian Federation) is extremely inconvenient to use

I don't know what happened in the Russian Federation, but you can refer to Iran's experience of using xhttp to avoid the dark period after being blacklisted and having its internet access cut off. Also, I don't understand your question: Cant create config for node with hardcoded unmanaged users and other panel-unsupported xray features. How can you support a feature that isn't supported?
