Metamod/NS server fails to load shared library in Docker build

Problem

I’m trying to build this repo with Docker, but I keep getting the following error:

ns_server | Server IP address 172.19.0.2:27015
ns_server | LoadLibrary failed on �%8����: �%8����: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
ns_server | Host_Error: Couldn't get DLL API from �%8����!

Steps to Reproduce

Clone the repo

Run:

docker compose build
docker compose up

It fails consistently with the same error.

Have you managed to resolve this issue?
I am making my own podman container and running into the exact same issue, this is how I install Metamod-r and AMX Mod X:

Metamod-P worked fine.
