Don't understand when use multi address in redis cluster mode

i have 2 qa:

1. Addrs allows pass multi host address. I confused when to use multiple addresses. Most redis clusters always have a single endpoint for all cluster nodes. I just need to pass that one end point. Is this right?
   

2)When can there be multiple hostAdrress pass to " Addrs: []string{":7000", ":7001", ":7002", ":7003", ":7004", ":7005"},". It seems very rare to see it in the actual project. A redis cluster, no matter how large, always has an endpoint to use. Any suggestions or ideals about having multiple endpoint access in redis cluster are welcome.
