I have used the FDE provisioner (rpi-sb-provisioner) with the image RPI5:
raspios_full_arm64-2026-04-14
The provisioning process completes successfully and the device boots. However, instead of booting into the desktop environment, it stops at:
Debian GNU/Linux tty1 localhost login:
I am unable to log in using any common usernames such as pi, root, or admin. All attempts return "Login incorrect"
Could you please clarify:
Does the FDE provisioner disable default user creation or first-boot setup?
What credentials should be used after provisioning?
Is it expected behavior to boot into CLI instead of the desktop?
Do we need to pre-create a user (e.g., via userconf.txt) before provisioning?
