Bug description

Almost daily the integration states that the API key has expired. I enter the same API key and it works (so it obviously didn't expire).

Hi @mptpro. Have you checked the HA logs or generated a diagnostic log yet around when this is happening? I've not seen this myself over a couple months of us now. It would be nice to see if anything is showing up in either log that might explain why auth is failing. My only other thought is if you have Dockhand behind a reverse proxy, that might be resulting in some requests failing and triggering the re-auth workflow. A quick way to test that is instead of actually re-entering your API key, just try reloading the integration. If that works, it means there was some sort of intermittent failure.

Anyway, I'll definitely try to fix this if we can narrow down to what is actually causing it!

DH is not behind a proxy. They're both on the same machine.

Oh interesting 500 is an internal server error during authentication. Have you checked the Dockhand logs to see if anything shows up there? It should have been a 401 if it was just authentication failed. I don’t know how to readily check the Dockhand logs, but I’m hoping that might reveal something helpful as it may show if the integration is doing something wrong, or reveal a dockhand bug.
