Debian Trixie repository is out of date #13707
-
Describe the bugThe Trixie repo only has 3.12.x releases while Bookworm also has 4.0.x. I know Trixie is not released yet, but we are preparing for it. Since the Trixie ppa exists, and Github releases install alright on Trixie, it would be nice having an up to date ppa. Reproduction stepsInstall Rabbit MQ on a Debian Trixie server, following instructions at https://www.rabbitmq.com/docs/install-debian RabbitMQ 4.0.5 will be installed from the Debian repository, because the RabbitMQ ppa contains only outdated releases (3.12.x) Since the Debian packages don't have the same utility scripts included by the RabbitMQ team, some tools don't work properly (rabbitmqctl, rabbitmq-plugins) Expected behaviorLatest RabbitMQ 4.0.x release is installed from the RabbitMQ ppa.
