its possible to change/stoping node in middle of test ?

so i use xdist for parallel appium for my mobile automation, and sometime in random device, appium failed make open session so the test at this device let say gw3 willl be error, and after that because gw3 empty queue xdist always take test case to that gw3 and make all test case error,

i wanna make logic if there is test enter error condition that i want (not failed test), i wanna stop that gw and continue other test with other gw that running well, is there any way to do that ? thanks lot
