Add freetext annotations and show unexpected results

Hi,
I used page.add_freetext_annot() to add Chinese text '不递交'. With a PDF reader, the annotation shows '不 交' which is missing 2nd word. After I manually resizing the border of the annotations in the PDF reader, the text in it shows correct. Does anyone meet similar situation? it's appreciated for any suggestions.
