This template should be used (edited) the month prior and during the meeting. This will ensure we can address all topics added throughout the month; as well as provide minutes and follow up after the meeting is held.

PyLadies Global Meeting

New Business

  • Update on website redesign 🎉
    • feedback on figma link by end of month
  • FYI - updated CoC to PSF (need to make a small adjustment) - @econchick
  • FYI - PyLadiesCon Global Council Panel on Friday @ 6:30pm UTC - @econchick
  • PyLadies Auction pricing - Phyllis Dobbs
    • raise entry prices - old prices were $35 & $50
    • two options:
      • $40 & $75
      • $45 & $90 <- leaning towards this option
    • For context, the cost per attendees of dinner the last two years:
      • 2023 cost $15,350.40 / 300 attendees = ~$51/person
      • 2024 cost $30,985.33 / 350 attendees = ~$89/person
    • ask Phyllis to add a one-liner context about why prices are increased

Old Business: Follow up items from prior meeting:

  • How can brand new & revived chapters get meetup support if they have to prove they have had the required number of events? - @econchick
    • Example re: Edinburgh (slack)
    • I started taking it over but the pyladies wont pay to reinstate unless i have a few meetups first but meetup makes me pay in order to reinstate

  • Update posted CoC to PSF's version - Phyllis Dobbs via @econchick
  • PyLadies Bratislava chapter - Phyllis Dobbs via @econchick
