As the title suggests, I was wondering why didn't you post your changes to the KDE connect android app as a PR at https://github.com/KDE/kdeconnect-android . Having the API through the app to initiate phone calls not to mention a beautiful client like the one you built was requested a long time ago: https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/kdeconnect/2018-April/003483.html
