Prettier on VS Code keeps freezing

Cannot discover clear steps but basically after opening vs code it runs fine for up to a minute and then begins taking forever to format the code, aka hangs.

Then I force reload and it works fine for another few minutes. It has been ever since I've switched from Windows to Mac. It's my first Mac and first time installed Code. Tried clean reinstalling, doesn't help.

I'm on the edge to switch to neovim.

Alrighty. Couldn't discover any similar issue using Google but seems like this one matches my situation precisely. Closing my to keep it tidy #2999
