Problem description

micromamba search already supports this but currently pixi does not:

$ pixi search "numpy>=2.2"  
Using channels: conda-forge
  × 'numpy>=2.2' is not a valid package name. Package names can only contain 0-9, a-z, A-Z, -, _, or .

Yes @deephbz, we'd are interested in that feature as well!

@wolfv had a draft PR for this at some point, but we didn't finish it up: #2390
