[FEATURE] Hyva Compatiblity

Is there an initiative from PostNL to bring Hyva compatibility now that the Hyva Checkout is out of Beta? I know there is an initiative for a compat module outside of this repo, but I'm curious what you are planning for this.

Hi Joost, nothing concrete as of yet - during peak season we rather not release major features like this, so I'm making a note in our backlog to start investigating this issue again at the start of the new year

@JoostWan A feature ensuring compatibility with Hyva checkouts is now officially on our roadmap. We hope to be able to release this soon but are as of yet unable to advise an estimated release date.

@woutk88 Unfortunately we do not have an update yet. However we did just finish a sizeable update which will be released soon. When it's released we will reassess our roadmap and I expect Hyvä compatibility to be one of our main priorities. We hope to see a Q2 release for this feature but as of yet we cannot make any promises.

Hi @JosRomateFashcom, we are currently well into the testing procedure for Hyvä and we haven't run into many issues, so it is going smoothly so far. We expect to be able to release soon.

Will the functionalities build in this hyva module be the same as the non hyva module?

If there is an test module available I would love to test it.

@JosRomateFashcom So far we have not found any functionalities that cannot be migrated to the Hyvä module - Delivery days, pick-up points, plug-in based fees and the addresscheck will all still be available in the new module and we do not expect any issues in back-end functionalities or shipping products at all.

Thank you for offering to test our module! I will discuss internally if and when this is possible and will let you know - right now we are still ironing out some kinks in the front end functionality so it wouldn't make much sense to share the test module already, but I will surely let you know if and when we're ready!
