Is there a way to join Body mesh and face mesh into one geometry? #18

I only use my characters in blender so this might not work for you but I just create a head vertex group on the head mesh and add all vertices to it, then do the same for the body and then join head to body and add another armature modifier. So one points at the head rig and one points at the body rig then I use the vertex group selection to limit the head to the head rig and the body to the body rig. |

I do some aditional sculpting before applying the rig, but it doesn't work when I merge the geometries, Do I have to sculpt what I want and then recreate a dna in UE?
