traceback error (4.0)

Im using blender 4.0

Upon turning on the plugin (using 2.6.2) i get this traceback error

I just reinstalled blender 4.0 and didnt get this error, but I do have something for you to try:

Browse to "C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\4.0\scripts\addons\send2ue" and open init.py in text editor

delete line 39 io.fbx_b3, from modules and restart blender.

While you're in that folder can you please go into core/io and see if fbx_b3.py is even there? Not sure why it wouldn't be.

I WAS also facing the same issue, although my line numbers WERE slightly different. Using Blender 4.1 .
I just spotted your other comment. I did those steps, and confirm it now works. Also using UE5.5.0.
Thanks for the fix!

One thing I noticed, is the materials that I created in Blender only come through as white materials.

Nice! Glad it worked. Yeah I'm not happy with the materials right now. Anything more than just textures won't transfer and even then it sometimes doesn't work. I have plans to implement MaterialX but it will take quite some time.
