Custom fields specific to particular pages and posts

I couldn't find an existing feature suggestion, but I would like to see the ability to add custom fields to particular posts and pages like how ACF does it. In fact, I always reach for PODS for my projects over ACF because PODS offers more field types out of the box and everything generally works well, but I can see this would be one reason to choose ACF. I recently had a need to implement a couple of custom fields that only pertain to/make sense when applied to particular pages and realised it's not possible.
