Microsoft added JDEC-compliant NVDIMM-N persistent memory device support in Windows Server 2016 and Windows 10. NVDIMM-P devices, such at the Intel(R) Optane(TM) DC Persistent Memory Modules are supported in Windows Server 2019 or later.
